The content of your list is great, and I don't want to sound like a nit-picking grinch, but I was quite distracted by the presentation i.e. poor grammar and punctuation. This article seems to have been up since Dec 23 and yet there are clear mistakes that any leader or successful person would cringe at because they have not been rectified.

The article starts with "The" instead of "They" in numbers 1, 6 and 7. Sentence 2 reads "They are Assertiveness" instead of "They have Assertiveness" or "They are Assertive". Number 6 has a space before the period, and on that topic, some sentences end in periods while others do not (9 and 14). There needs to be consistency.

We all make mistakes and there are slips of the keyboard. However I think this is too much in one article and more care should be taken in the presentation of such interesting and useful information, especially when promoting leadership. Presentation should enhance your content, not take away from it.

Marcia, Assertiveness in this context was meant to define the ability to act with a level of positive influence--with integrity

I like all of these except assertiveness. Emotional intelligence doesn't necessarily equate with willingness to assert oneself or having the confidence to do so.

One of Peter Drucker's strengths was the ability to simplify the complex. His management books and insights should be required reading for all managers.
